Do you buy collections?
YES! We are always buying comics, toys, collectibles items. We offer cash and trade deals to meet your immediate needs. We will travel and/or work out a shipping arrangement for the right collection.
We are physically located just outside of Tampa, FL and assess collections 7 days a week (excluding comics on Sundays unless booked in advance). If you are coming with a large collection, please call ahead so we are properly staffed to get you a fast and efficient evaluation.
What is a Pre-order?
As soon as a manufacturer announces a new item and gives us the go ahead, we will list it for preorder with an expected arrival date. Preorder means we are taking advanced orders for the item. It has either not been released or has not yet arrived in hand to ship out.
Please note, pre-order release dates are subject to change. The dates are based upon the expectation of the manufacturer but delays outside of our control can occur. If you have a question about your preorder please check out our Pre-Orders update page here.
When will my order ship?
All orders placed on our website will be shipped as soon as all items have arrived to fulfill the complete order. Please make note that if you order something in stock and another item that is a pre-order, all items will ship at once when all items are available. Note, arrival times are estimates and subject to change without notice. Please check out our Pre-Order Updates page for additional information about when items are anticipated to arrive.
Why do I have to pay for my pre-order today?
Due to payment authorizations, all pre-orders are charged up front to ensure you receive the item you are buying. Please check out the interest free payment options via PayPal found in your shopping cart to pay over time with Paypal Pay in 4!
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Due to the collectible nature of many of our products, cancelled orders are subject to a 15% cancellation fee that will be applied to your account for future purchases at Comic Spot.
Tell me more about shipping.
All shipments originate from the sunny state of Florida and are typically delivered within 3 to 7 business days (Mon-Fri). Based upon the size and weight of the item, actual shipping charges are calculated and charged. We use a combination USPS and UPS for all shipments with the option of Economy, Express or Expedited services. Orders over $150 to the lower 48 U.S. are eligible for free shipping (certain exclusions apply).
Comic Spot is proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. All orders are automatically enrolled in Route+ protection at checkout to be protected from damage, loss*, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service for free to all of our customers!
*Claims for packages marked "delivered" must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked "delivered." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 (20 for international) days and within 30 days from the last checkpoint. Note, in the event of a reimbursement from Route, Comic Spot does not reimburse for shipping charges, only the product itself is covered by this insurance policy.
Comic Spot is not responsible for any package that is lost, damaged, held, or stolen after it is handed off to the shipping carrier. This is why we provide you with free shipping insurance on every order!
Marked As Delivered (Stolen)
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 5 and no later than 15 days from when it was marked delivered
- Orders over $100 USD require a police report
Stuck In Transit (Lost)
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 7 days and no later than 30 days from the last update (US), 60 days from order date
- Issues can be approved no earlier than 20 days and no later than 30 days from the last update (International), 60 days from order date
- File issues for damaged items with photos of the package and item (required) and no later than 15 days from when it was marked delivered.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of these products, we do not offer any returns or exchanges. All transactions are final. If there is any issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will do our best to help. Refunds, replacements, and exchanges will be reviewed on a case by case basis and are subject to a restocking and shipping fees. The best way to contact us is via email: firstname.lastname@example.org with the issue and pictures (if applicable) and a member of our team will review and respond within 1-2 business days.
All over print items will have different placements on each product, we do not offer return or exchanges based on specific placements.
